Hi

I'm trying to expose a complex image on a 62t yellow

My light source is a single 1000w halogen, using a piece of clean glass to hold stencil tight with foam underneath the screen.

The film is cloudy A3 but has a crisp dark layer of ink

My emulsion is prochem dual plastisol/water based

I'm exposing for 9.30mins, usually no tacky feeling and stencil washes out under low pressure

Today I had a screen that wen very wrong, if anyone could tell me what the possible cause could be I'd be very grateful, I'll add a picture

Looks like you had some severe emulsion to mesh adhesion issues. This is normally due to poor mesh preparation and NOT abrading the mesh when it is brand new. Check out these resources:

This could also be caused by simply spending far too much time in the washout booth.

This article may help out as well:

As emulsion gets supersaturated with water it will become very fragile and begin to peel or bubble. It should take no longer than 5 minutes max to washout a screen. Ideally less than 3 minutes.

I hope that helps out.
