printing black ink on ink jet film

i have the Epsom 1430 and when printing on waterproof ink jet film the black is not that dark tryed settings and not getting any darker. i have tryed cmyk and rgb no diffeance. i am useing corel draw with the simplesep add on. cant figure what i am doing wrong. thanks for you help.

So you have good droplet weight? Try using Pantone Solid coated colors

You can also run your blacks as 100% CMYK. Make sure the document is in CMYK color mode and set all the blacks to 100% for each of the process colors.
