Print Issue CMYK
Making an effort to create my own artwork. We are having several brochures printed. Does anyone understand what CMYK means since it tends to make my colours appear completely different?

Re: Print Issue CMYK
CMYK stand for "Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black" - the 4 color that are used to replicate full-color images when put onto a white background or underbase. The reason your colors are coming out looking different is because your design is probably using and RGB (Red-Green-Blue) pallet for its colors instead of CMYK. Are your colors looking different actually printed out, or do you mean they look different on the computer screen when converted to CMYK? Some more info and pictures might be able to help us diagnose the issue you're seeing.
