Man, Fonts...I hate'm...Every client gives me a graphic and they WANT their font....so...my question...Can anyone help me figure out HOW to identify WHAT font my clients use? If you need an example I can post the graphic I'm working of of.
I have the hardest time trying to figure out what fonts people used for my clients.
Thanks

Re: Fonts...
Posting the image that you're working with might be a good idea, at-least there's a chance I would be able to tell you what font it is.
A website that should help you a lot is: http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/
I would caution you; though, that even if you know what the font is you may not be able to download and use it freely. Most fonts that are intended for commercial use cost money to a acquire rights to use, and most of the free fonts around have copyrights that limit their use to personal use or applications that do not earn you money. They can be ignored, but that's not recommended. It's also worth noting that even fonts you pay for may not be for commercial use.

Re: Fonts...
I always ask the customer to either provide the font or if it is vector artwork it can be saved as curves or outlines so you don’t need the font installed. Just ask their artist to save text as curves or create outlines.
But I have used What The Font and it works sometimes. It can be difficult at best:
