Not successful in creating my first screen

This is the place to talk about what it takes to get started. This would include what equipment to buy, space requirements, electrical needs and anything related to getting ready to begin screen printing. Have a question regarding what it takes to screen print tee shirts? Please post them here...

Not successful in creating my first screen

Post by zepper »

Hi guys,
I am starting my online t-shirt printing shop http://www.zepper.in. I have been working from home. Previously i used to print and sell mobile phone cases. But Now i am planning to start my t-shirt printing business. As a matter of fact, Its not easy to print and supply tshirts at home. if you do not have sufficient knowledge in this field. I have tried to built by first DTG but i was unsuccessful and ran out of money due to high cost of parts and other things. If i buy a commercial DTG it would cost me more than $10,000 Which i do not have.
So i opted for screen printing. Bought all my materials for screen printing. Setup a small screen printing machine. But the problem is i cannot produce perfect screen. Maybe its light problem or the applied substance to the screen is thick. I am not able to open the mesh properly. Guidance is needed. Thanks.
