You can print almost anything flat enough to place on a textile rotary screenprinting press. In this demonstrative educational video you can see the guys at Ranar screen printing the powder coated control panels for our flash cure units. This is an air dry solvent based ink that will bond to the powder coating while drying by evaporation. Anything flat enough to fit between the screen and pallet can be printed with the appropriate inks. A simple jig can be set up with tape and cardboard in order to place the part on the pallet in the same position each time. As a textile screen printer taking on some odd jobs like printing clip boards, binders or other flat products can be a great way of diversifying your product line for your customers.



Try doing some plastic clip boards with a vinyl ink and offer them to the schools you may already print for. Just be sure you can do the job properly before you accept any money. I hope you enjoy the video!
