Screen Printing Water Based Inks With A Forced Air Flash Cure & Standard Infrared Dryer

Okay so these are the shirts I was giving out at the Ranar booth. This is how I printed them with a standard infrared belt dryer. As you can see in the production run video I used a forced air flash on press to evaporate the solvents out of the ink and then the water based ink can go straight through the standard infrared belt dryer at normal speeds.



What this means is that you can print high volume production runs of water based ink without a forced air belt dryer. The catch is that you will need a forced air flash cure to use on press. This would work pretty much the same way with a multi colored print. The difference would be that we would allow the last color of the multi colored water based ink print to go around the press one last time before coming off and going into the belt dryer. Follow?
