How To Screen Print Tee Shirts: Should You Use A Pressure Washer To Washout The Stencil?

Post by Catspit Productions »

In this tutorial screen printing video I show you how to properly washout a stencil when you are making screens for screenprinting t-shirts. There are many videos on YouTube about screenprinting and they will all vary in technique. For instance many videos will show a pressure washer being used to wash out the stencil after you expose the screen with the film positive. Is this necessary? Is it correct procedure? Should you use so much force when trying to create a stencil especially with high detail? In this instructional video I answer all those questions and more such as; should you use hot or cold water when washing out the screen? I also briefly discuss which side of the screen should be facing you during washout. This could have been a very short video with an abbreviated answer but I find it more beneficial to include more details and information about the topic. I also like to include some action whenever possible to make the video more enjoyable to watch and learn from. I hope this educational screen printing video helps you learn how to screen print tee shirts with ease. Thanks for watching!
