I’ll give you the quick rundown on what back flooding is and why you need to do it. Water based inks dry by evaporation and then are heat set for wash safeness. That means they will dry on press in the screen while you are printing. This video gives you the best way to keep the stencil wet and flowing with ink. Learn how to wet the screen with ink in order to keep it from drying in the stencil.

Suitable for cotton, jersey, Lycra and other natural and synthetic fabrics like polyester. This ink has a very long drying time but traditional methods for water based ink printing are recommended. It has a very smooth yet pasty consistency much like frosting. It will not run on the screen when it is in the up position. Working with this ink compares to working with plastisol inks due to its thickness and long evaporative drying times.
