Printing Plastisol on 2-Ply Jackets.

Post by TWise »

Does anyone have any suggestions for manual printing on jackets that have a shell and then an inner liner. Obviously tack is useless as the printed surface is free to move. We use have a jacket holdown for our press but it's not completely fool-proof. So does anyone have any particular suggestions? Such as light pressure, harder squeegee, certain ink viscosity, etc.

Other than simple jacket holders that stretch the double lined garment over the pallet. It does take a little skill to print these. You may not be able to make it so any printer can do it. Different screen printers may have differences in their printing abilities and this is not uncommon. Usually there can be 1 or 2 senior press operators that will do the specialty items.
