I'm sure this topic has been discussed before but...here goes...
I recently printed a job using 230 mesh, 60 lpi and my squeegees are 80 durometer. I am having issues with ink not going all the way through to the garment, I get some splotches so I have to go over it a few times for the ink to clear the screen.
Should I use a higher durometer or a lower durometer?
The other thing I was worried about is my lpi count, is 60 to high for 230 mesh? My design has no halftones in it. I didn't pay attention to the lpi count, printed my film and burnt my screens and then it finally hit me! lol...
Thanks...

Re: squeegee durometer question...
I would try a 70 durometer. It will be firm enough to work with the higher mesh count while allowing some ink to print. But with plastisol inks and a 60LPI on 230 mesh you're going to have to work a little harder to get the coverage right. And yes, if I did a 60LPI I would be on 305 mesh.
But if you have no halftones then you do not have a 60LPI piece of art on screen. It would be a simple spot color which could be printed on a much lower mesh count depending on the detail in the design.
