Screen press wash

hi,

I'm sick of using tons of blue paper rolls when doing an on the press wash, also I seem to be using lots of screen wash

Does anyone use rags instead? Or some other kind of hard wearing paper towel?

I'm finding that some inks end up like glue and as soon as I rub a paper towel across the screen it just rips the paper.

Some shops use a rag service much like an automotive shop but that may not be practical for smaller operations. You could use your rag shirts or misprints but you may not have enough to really do that if you're just starting out. I use paper towels and I do fine. I just watch how much I am using and try to not be wasteful. I even buy the cheapest, crappiest paper towels I can find.

A good solvent should be able to be sprayed on the screen and wiped with paper towel. Then it shouldn't tear so easily.

Sorry, I'm not much help here..... LOL. Not sure what else you could use.
