Hello and thank you for all of the information from here and the video's. My question is, I do vinyl graphics and instead of using a printer I was going to use black vinyl on a transparent film. Will this work to make a film positive?

Yes. If you use opaque sticker vinyl and fix it to a clear acetate it can be used as a film positive.
