This was an educational screenprinting video requested by one of our faithful viewers here on YouTube. I was supposed to get to this tutorial video last week but you know how it goes in the screenprinting shop. But this is a very simple video I made to demonstrate the principle of doing a print stroke without doing a flood stroke. You may think this is such an easy thing to do why make a video but think about it for a minute. If you are not an experienced printer this print method may not occur to you naturally and it’s a good tool to have in your back pocket when running a print shop. There could be any number of reasons why we might want to do a print stroke without flooding but how do you do it exactly? What is the best way to do a print stroke when we don’t want to flood? This short but effective instructional video teaches you just that and some. Here we go over the 2 different print strokes most commonly used and how to do them without flooding. Enjoy!
