Hello, I'm looking for a decent black toner printer, that accepts 11" x 17" transparencies for posters. I am completely unfamiliar with this aspect as I usually take images to a printer, but it can be very pricey.

I normally suggest inkjet printers for making film positives. The Epson 1400 and 1430 work well for sheet films. But I do know Samsung makes some very good all black toner laser printers. You would just have to get one big enough for 11x17.
