I started my sojourn into the world of dry stencil creation using an HP Laserjet 5500, an older machine that has printed on paper, transparencies, vellum, card stock, etc. just fine. After speaking with the fine folks at RhinoTech, I was informed that HP printers are highly not recommended for use here. OkiData is one of the preferred printers. My question: Will the OkiData B4600 Black Monochrome Laser Printer get the job done? It is reasonably priced (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... _-28107082).

Any help here is appreciated. I'm trying to find the right mix between cost and performance since I am on a shoe-string budget.

Yes, that is correct and RhinoTech actually makes a laser printer for their transfer products.

I'm not sure myself. You'll have to do some testing if possible.
