Hello! This is my first post on the forum, but I have read many posts and watched a lot of Jonathan's YouTube videos. The information has been great. I am having a problem with print quality in these shirts specifically. I have produced a batch of them in the recent past where I had issues with the print quality on the press. I thought I had the issue solved, but the shirts had the ink "flake" off of some of them after one wash. I am trying to remake them and appear to be having the same issue. Pictures attached. Please help!
I appreciate any feedback you can provide
Thank you!

Re: Print Quality Issue
It looks like there is a very heavy deposit of ink in these areas. Check your off contact and see that it is level and parallel to the pallet. Also make sure it is low like 1/16th an inch if possible.
Be sure to use a print stroke that will push some of the ink into the knit slightly. Then use a print stroke that will deposit more ink. But each time the ink must sheer off and clear out of the mesh.
The more ink you print the longer cure time you will need. In the end this is probably a simple matter of under curing. I am assuming this is plastisol ink so the cure is critical. Try curing them longer and more thoroughly if you’re using only a flash cure. Also try printing less ink and print a more even print. It should be smooth and even all over.

Re: Print Quality Issue
Thank you! What is your opinion on the mesh count for the screen? It is a plastisol ink.
I am planning to use the same ink on black hoodies (which I have never done). Do you have any words from the wise to share please?
Thank you!
Jennifer

Re: Print Quality Issue
My pleasure.
On a design like that I would use a 110 or a 125 mesh screen. Here are my tips for fleece:
