All the white spots in the image is where the ink is not passing thru. I'm sure you all knew that but thought I would point it out

Hi everyone new to the forum. I have been screen printing since October 213 I do it all in a very small 10'x10' part of my basement. I have been using dual cure emulsion all along with very few problems. Today for the first time I used SVP hybrid emulsion. Everything exposed great and washed out so much better than the dual cure. I held it up to the light as I always do and there were no objects blocking anything. I got on press and did a few test prints as I always do. However some of the print was not letting ink through almost like it was blocked. I flooded and printed from different angles. It started letting ink through but not entirely. I used some screen opener but nothing changed  . Not sure if this has happened to anyone else. Any and all info will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance :D

It sounds like you might have some under exposed emulsion scum in the stencil. Check out this video for details:

The superficial layer of emulsion on the unexposed side of the screen wasn't completely washed away. Looking directly at it, it's hard to spot, turn the screen horizontal and look across the image at eye level and kinda rock it back and forth, up and down. If you see a shine where there is no emulsion, there's your problem. If you have time, give it another rinse or just wet a clean rag and work the area, gently, not too hard that you'll break down the surrounding emulsion. It's a lot easier checking it out beforehand, rather than setting up, taping up, and inking up only to have that WTF moment.

Thank you both! I was able to do another rinse and it is working fine. I never had that issue with the dual cure but then again I got excited when I saw the image wash out easily with much less of an exposure time. I went thru and looked at a couple other screens I did but have not yet used. And they had the same problem. I have noticed that the ink side feels a bit slimy but nothing comes off on my finger, i may increase the exposure a bit. Jonathan I want to thank you also for my screens they came in yesterday! I can't wait to put them to use :D
