Am interested in the process of printing serigraphs on non-acid paper, using my artwork. If water-based ink is used, do I need to use a different
emulsion than the one I use for plastisol ink; (2) What screen opening should be used? Just thinking at this point, but would like your input. Thanks for the great Catspit Production Screen Printing aids.

Well this is really all about textiles so I can’t help much there. But yes, you need an emulsion resistant to your ink. There are emulsions resistant to water based, solvent and discharge inks.

You mesh count will likely be higher than that of plastisol inks. With water based or solvent based inks I normally start with a 200 mesh to see how the ink prints.
