PRINTING RINGS ON SLEEVE

Post by Terelldray »

I am planning on screen printing two 3/4 inch solid black rings aroung each sleeve of a long sleeve shirt and I was wondering if there were any tricks or if there was a certain way to go about doing this. The only way I can think of doing this would be to print on one side of the sleeve and then the other but I figure that there will be a slight gap between the black stripes on the back and the stripes on the front. Should I do 4 prints moving it a quarter of the sleeve over?

That sort of thing is best done before the garment is assembled. But if you have no choice but to work with a premade garment then I would do it as 2 prints if you have to. Honestly I wouldn’t even touch that type of print since there is no real way of making the two halves line up perfectly. I mean you may get very close but it will be time consuming and laborious.

So I think what you propose is the best option for you. Maybe someone else has an idea for you ;)
