Hi im looking to get started in screen printing. and i already have everything i need except for a printer i want to spend about a $150 on one new or used.

I know Epson makes a very good printer, I use the 1430. One thing to consider is the width of your designs. 1430 can print up to 13 inches wide but I think it was around $300 new without the rip software. Another thing is if you will only be printing transparencies, you will only be using the black ink. I would suggest checking on ink refills before deciding on a printer.

I can also vouch for the Epson WF-7520. I got mine for just under $200 new, and it does great 13x19 transparencies!

ok say i buy a epson printer does it have to have all black cartridges or can it have one?

OK I PURCHASED A EPSON 1400 and i have a mac book air what is a free program i could get to startprinting at the most a 2 color
