emulsion thickness
Hi. How thick an emulsion should be used? Once on each side enough, or slightly thicker on the print side? Whats the verdict? Thanks.

Re: emulsion thickness
I personally do 1 coat on each side using the thicker, more rounded edge of my scoop coater for almost all of my screens. If you're needing a thicker ink deposit for more opacity, you might want to do 2 on the substrate side and 1 on the inkwell side.

Re: emulsion thickness
I use a 1/1 coating for everything. I believe its pretty standard. A second coat on the substrate side could be used if you need a thick white and I think some people use it for glitter and puff inks as well. When I need a thick white I will just hit flash hit to get a thicker deposit. A second coat of emulsion will change your exposure time as well.
