Supply shop request(s)

As a Catspit patron and someone who prefers shopping with Jonathan (and thus supporting the further production of videos to help the community), I figured I'd start what will hopefully be a "go to" thread for people who have requests of stuff they'd like to see available in the Catspit Screen Printing Supply shop. There's already a pretty wide range of stuff there, but sometimes a need arises for a particular product that's not currently listed. If you've got a request, post it here!

To start things off... would it be possible to make Saati's Graphic PU emulsion available?
I'm wanting to start playing around with printing on paper (mostly LP jackets), and that calls for a good solvent-resistant graphic emulsion.

For inks, I'm considering Speedball's poster acrylic inks. But if you know of something better and can get it in stock, I'm all ears Big J!

Great thread Andy. I only hope I can live up to it. Kinda puts me in the hot seat to deliver. So let me first say that I can special order anything for anyone anytime. Just contact me.

Also I have to admit that getting product onto the website is a slow process. I am running such a small project that it makes things difficult at times. I am already very delayed in getting scrubby pads on there for Leadfoot and she probably had to buy them elsewhere.

As a small business like myself competing in this corporate world I am at a major disadvantage and I run on a much, much lower profit margin.

That being said I will endeavor to do my best to add products that are suggested here.

I can add almost any Saati product but stocking is an issue with items like emulsion that have a shelf life. I think what I can do is have some of the Saati product be picked up as ordered in Gardena. But that would delay the shipping of those special items until they come in. I can note that in the description for those special items.

Maybe that can work so I don’t have to stock items that I may only sell once in a while. I have been procrastinating on adding Saati chemicals so I guess I need to get busy

Perfect solution, IMO. With something like that, I personally don't mind if there's a bit of a delay. Since I don't do a high volume of printing, waiting a few extra days for something to arrive isn't a huge deal - especially since the price is going to be comparable to anything else out there and I have a better idea what my purchase is supporting

Which, BTW, I'll have to remember to grab some scrubby pads too. Needless to say the ones that came with my kit have since seen their better days

I'm working on adding some Saati chemicals in quarts and of course the scrubby pads currently. Just waiting for the order to arrive at the warehouse.

Awesome! Looking forward to the addition of the scrubby pads, and I'll have to pick up some of that graphic PU emulsion once I get closer to time for some LP jacket printing tasks. Does Saati offer those in quart sizes as well, or just gallons?

They do offer quart sizes but since these are special order items I am only offering gallons currently. Maybe if sales get better I can offer quarts. You can still use the Saati promo code untill January 1st 2014. So you could see if they have it on their ecommerce site for now if you really only need a quart. See the Print Supplies page of the Catspit website.

On January 1st 2014 both the RhinoTech and Saati codes will be disconinued and will no longer be active.
