Yellow Spots

I am trying to run a screen print on a 100% cotton camo tshirt. When the shirt comes out of the dryer it has yellow spots in the paint, or a discoloration. The ink is a carolina blue ink. Is it the camo shirt causing this? I also mixed paints to achieve the color that I needed.

Welcome to the forums! Try uploading or linking a picture of the problem you're seeing, and maybe we can help narrow down what's causing it. Also, are the inks you're using waterbased or plastisol, and what brand?

I just ran some of these anvil camo shirts last week. The bleed was insane. Check with your mfg of ink to see if they have a antibleed base to put down first. that was the only thing that saved me on this job.

Yes it ads a step but .... I would rather do that than eat a few dozen shirts.

I agree with Shamax and Saati. Upload an image for best results on replies but it does sound like a bleed issue or something with the shirt. An under base of some kind should solve the issue. A poly white or perhaps just a light gray since it’s basically a light blue ink you’re printing.
