Vellum?

Hello everyone! I'm fairly new to screen printing! For years I wanted to get into it, but thought it was an expensive thing to get into, but finally did some research and now I'm actually making prints and having fun.
So far, I've taken PDFs of my film positives to Office Depot to print on transparencies. I looked at buying a pack to do at home, but it's like $30+ or more, and I'm just starting out. But I also saw vellum was much much cheaper. I think somewhere around $10 for 25 sheets. Vellum isnt 100% transparent though, it's kind of milky opaque. Does vellum work for burning images, or should I stick to regular transparencies?

Yes, vellums can work well for making screens for screenprinting. But they can also be difficult. You’ll have to test them for yourself.

As you can see there are different types and results may vary.
