The ink will not transfer from the vellum to the screen. What happens is that the printed are on the vellum should block the uv light from reaching the emulsion behind it. The uv light will "harden" the emulsion that was exposed to the light. The emulsion behind the image on the vellum will stay soft since it wasn't exposed to the light. That will allow the unexposed emulsion to washout with water and the hardened emulsion remain. This leaves you with your stencil.milkcowblues wrote:I know I have vellum....and once the image is taped on the screen...all I need to do is leave a light on the screen for some time for the ink to transfer from the vellum to the screen?...is that correct?
many thanks

If you're not going to go all the way then why bother going at all.
