Text on shirts

Post by Lottie05 »

How should you go about adding text to t shirts? Such as the best font size for front and back of adult and kids shirts. I see a lot of screen printed shirts that may only have text but I don't know the best size to set text.

Normally we would size the art depending on what size garments are being printed. Generally the larger the garment the larger the print but there is no set standard for this. It’s simply a matter of what looks good on the garment.

The size of the text you can use will be dependent on how much text you need to use. The only thing I could suggest is to watch plenty of my videos to see the sizing I use for different prints.

But in the end this will be a personal preference and sometimes a directive from the customer.
