i am new to screen printing. I am currantly using international coatings ryonet white ink. Not sure if i am being to picky but seems like the ink is not going on shirts correctly. I am screening on black tees with 156 screens tryed 110 and seems worse, after print flash print the quality does not seem to be very good. some cracking in the ink whem pulled, and ruff texture in the ink. The screen seems to have little specks of something left in the screen after a few prints. I have added a strech additive and seems to help but will still crack i pulled. i have also added a curable reducer to help with the thickness of the paint.
is there anything i am missing or any suggestions that you think might help. thanks for any addvice in advance.

Re: white ink problems
I would try a different white ink. That will cure the problem instantly. Here are videos with tips for printing white ink:
This one covers reducer:
This one shows you what white ink should behave like:
Get the Triangle Phoenix white at a 5% discount here:

That should help out. I hear a lot of people have the same issues with that ink.

Re: white ink problems
Also, if you're seeing a lot of cracking, that would lead me to think that your ink isn't curing completely. Like Jonathan says, a better ink will probably help, but I'd say to double-check and make sure you're curing it at the right temp for long enough. Preferably, I'd say use a temp gun and check the data sheet for the ink you're using. If the time and temp is good and you're still seeing obvious cracking on a stretch test, it's definitely time to invest in a better ink.

Re: white ink problems
I love the Triangle Alpine White. I don't see myself using IC white ink again.

Yeah, I love the Triangle inks and if you need any help getting them I can sell them through RANAR right now. But I have to charge list price and shipping for now. I'll be working on doing shipping specials as I figure out how to sell more of my own products direct.
