Well, my new 34" (31.5" max cut width) should be delivered Tuesday (Feb.12). I can't wait to get it set up so I can offer larger sizes.

Got my new 34" plotter and it's pretty sweet. Made a trip to my city's Park & Rec. Dept. to tell them I'm ready to do transfers for the leagues softball jerseys. The Director asked me to attend the coach's meeting for all 157 teams and pitch my business. I was also asked by Chammps restaurant to make a banner for them for a chili cookoff. Well, it helps that the kitchen manager there is a long time (30+ years) friend of mine. :D

Nice Plotter ApeShirt, I have a Graphtec CE5000-60 and recently I got a Graphtec CE5000-40 Craft ROBO Pro 15'' used, for this on I paid $800 with a 15x15 heat transfer machine and a Cap heat transfer machine, guess it was a good deal. We do Sports Uniforms and we use it a lot.

Thanks guys. Kevin, that does sound like a great deal. My main reason for a plotter is for the same reason as you, sports apparel. But, for a little more I was able to get a larger format plotter. I can't afford the "professional" series plotters but I don't intend to cut vinyl all the time either. If I find myself needing an expensive professional plotter, well, that just means I'm doing a lot of business in vinyl. So far, I am really liking this plotter. I haven't tracked a great distance yet but it claims to track 12'. Jonathon, I do recommend getting a plotter. It can open a new market for you if you're looking to do so. This plotter is also capable of contour cutting due to its laser registration. I plan on doing stickers and such in the future so that feature will allow me to do some cool stickers. My though is that if a potential customer does not need screen printed apparel or such, they may be interested in vinyl logos or stickers.
Needless to say, I am stoked to have this piece of equipment. 1 job has already paid for 1/10 of the cost of the machine.

Yeah that is cool. I think I just want one to have it ;) I like to make my own branding materials.

What kind of stickers will it do? Simple vinyl adhesive cut outs in colored vinyl of course but can it do printed adhesive material by cutting it out?

That’s the contour cutting with the laser registration right? I think that is one of the best features it could have. But what type of sticker material can be printed to send through there with what printers?

Yeah J-money, it's supposed to be able to cut printed stickers with it's laser registration feature. I'm trying to find the best way to go about to print stickers as I want to offer that service soon.
A cool thing with contour cutting is, if I understand correctly, it will cut around an outline of a specified object. Let's say I have a sheet of stickers printed with the Monster Energy logo with a black background. If I want only the logo and not the background it can cut around only the logo.
