First official weekend of printing at Fragile Branch

My print shop and record label is finally legit, so I got down to business this past weekend with my first official print job: doing some cloth patches for a limited box-set release of a new album by an artist I've long admired. I also took a few blank tees I had lying around and printed an advert design. The patch sigil had a lot of fine-line detail that burned well in the stencil, but didn't always translate well to the 10 oz cotton duck. The artist was still pleased, which is what matters, and I was pleased with them too on the whole (for being such a complex design). Enjoy!

Everything laid out on the floor:

Hey Shamax! Is there something wrong with the image links? They don't seem to be loading now.

Hmm, I'm not sure. I'll have to check the links and such. Actually, I've got some more I need to upload - I just finished printing up 30+ shirts for a local black metal band today and just dropped them off to the guy. It's hard to tell which of us was more stoked

I just noticed that I don't see the "upload attachments" tab any more for some reason, so I'll just link to them directly from the facebook page. The guys in Torrid Husk had gotten some shirts printed elsewhere before, but they'd used the same 11" logo on all sizes. This worked great for the smalls and mediums, but on large and XL shirts, it looked tiny. As such, I did a 13" version of the logo for the smalls & mediums, and a 15" version for the larger sizes.

Here's one of the classic white-on-black 15" ones still on the press

And here's some of them, along with some black-on-white ones lined-up on the floor awaiting some TLC with the heat gun.

And for those that hadn't seen, I've been doing a good deal of "patches" for prints. I did another set for Njiqahdda's latest cassette release over at Ivory Antler Records:

And I also printed some to use as "wraps" for the cassette releases I did back in May:

Next up: I have more patches to print for a couple other groups/labels, and I have some 7" and 10" jackets to print for my first record releases!!! All the info is up at the new fragilebranch.com site

I can see these. They look great. But I didn't know anyone had a cassette player anymore... LOL.

I like the little promo kits with the cassettes wraped in aprinted fabric. Very cool. Now that's a wrap :)
