Yes the blue is the left over ink. I already tried bleach. I'll give the dehazer a try.

do you recommend any dehazers? and can i find them in arts and crafts stores?

The only haze removers I've used are from online supply shops, so I'm not sure if any craft supply places would have them. I know Jonathan has some in the Catspit screen supply store. The Rhinotech stuff looks pretty good - fairly cheap for a quart, PLUS it degreases too, from the looks of it. Degreasing helps clean any dirt/oils off the screen so that the emulsion will adhere better when you go to coat it again.

Don't be surprised if you still see a little bit of a ghost image on a screen, though - ESPECIALLY with waterbased inks. I use water based for now, and no mater how well I wash, I almost always still see the outline of a stencil once a print job is over. It's hasn't affected my ability to re-use any of my screens yet, but I always dehaze & degrease which seems to help.

It totally looked like it was all emulsion but I am still not sure of what you are doing, experiencing, etc.... I am not sure why, if the stencil washed out, it did not print. Then I am unsure why if it did washout and did not print; how did it get a stain?

I am lost on this one. I don’t think I am following exactly what happened to give you this final result.

heres how it looks after using the rhinotech haze chemicals...should i continue using it to remove all of the haze?

Honestly, that looks pretty good considering it's water based inks that have been on there a while. I'd say try to make another stencil on it. I have screens that have stained more than that which still print fine let us know how it goes!
