Should I flash White Poly Ink on light blue/blueberry polyester polos?

Here you can discuss any issues related to working with plastisol screen printing inks. This would include curing, mixing colors, additives, brands, usages and much more.

Should I flash White Poly Ink on light blue/blueberry polyester polos?

Post by biglsyny »

First off I would like to say to Catspit Productions thanks for accepting me. You guys are great and your videos have helped me immensely. I have a job coming up and It is for a light blue/blueberry Poly Polo. The customer wants white ink. Can I get away with hitting it a few times and dropping it in the dryer or do I have to pfp? Also it is a very basic left chest polo simple design just letters, so is a 110 mesh screen ok for something like that? Any info would be much appreciated. Once again thanks for all the help you guys have given me over time.

Hello there. You're very welcome. I'm glad I can help out through my videos. You should be able to get the print off nicely without flashing and send it right through the belt dryer. And in that case I would use the 110 mesh so as to print as much ink as possible. It's not always necessary to print/flash/print and you should avoid it whenever possible.

It's my pleasure to help out where I can.
