Cleaning up Adhesive

Post by Ochtees »

Hi, what would be the best thing to use to clean up spray adhesive that's on my machine and floor? Just soap and water?

Spray tacks are very gummy and not easy to remove. I use solvents. This video may help:

This one is about lubricating the press:

As for the floor it depends on what it is. Concrete can take solvents and then a soap and water wash. Other surfaces may need to be steamed or scrubbed with detergents and very hot water.

My pleasure :)

On painted concrete I would try a very hot soapy water wash. With the amount of soap and water you can use on the floor it should loosen up after a bit of agitation and then some rags should wipe up all the wet lint and glue blobs.
