Here you can discuss any issues related to working with plastisol screen printing inks. This would include curing, mixing colors, additives, brands, usages and much more.
I'm about to get started with some practice prints and I have some inks that came with my Ranar shop pkg (4 basic colors and including B/W) but I will be needing more colors. I need some recommendations for a good quality ink brand/s good for general purpose printing. I will be printing on 100% cotton (mostly), dark shirts, light shirts and white shirts. I don't think I will be messing with any specialty inks (glow, flourescent, puff, etc) for now, just the basics. Would love to pantone mix but that might be a bit over my head for the time being.
Any help? Thanks!

Sorry for the 'for b' at the end of thread title. Must've used up all my letter spaces. Think I was going to put 'for beginners'. Better yet, how about for 'start-up'.

Just to give my experience and another option, I have had very good results with Excalibur 500 and 550 series inks. I also use their 1550 for 100% poly apparel. Excalibur are harder to find but I just so happen to be able to get them at my local Plaza Artist store so it is nice to have somewhere local I can usually get just about any color I need in a pinch or to save shipping.
I am extremely happy with their Arctic white, very creamy, nice coverage and usually and if done correctly you can do a print/flash print and it is nice and solid with little to no seepage of the tee from below. It is very easy to use and has a nice finish to it when cured.
