Yes, you should be able to but the concern here is dye migration. If you are printing black, red or maroon colored polyester garments you may want to use inks specifically designed for polyester to prevent dye migration. This would be a great concern when printing white ink on those polyester colors. If you are printing a dark colored ink on a light colored polyester garment then you would be less concerned with any dye migration.

A 50/50 poly cotton blend would have less dye migration problems but still could be a concern.

Check this article for more on dye migration:

Hi,
Cheers for all the effort you've put in to make this site completely invaluable to us newbies!!

Not so much a question, more a thanks for clarification!
I'm a newbie, low volume output setup with limited equipment & even more limited funds!
My concern was....I have an order for a print on just 2 polyester polo shirts (candy pink with blue ink) and wanted to clarify.......
A) Plastisol ink was ok to use
B) A heat press (temp wise) would be ok to fully cure the ink.

Think I've got this right and both answers are positive ones!!!!?!

The time & effort you take to update your site & post the videos is very much appreciated. Many thanks!

I went to the Triangle website after watching Jonathan's videos on white inks to check out more info on them. I found and filled out their free sample form. I decided to ask for Phoenix white instead of Alpine white, not for any particular reason since I want to try both. What did I find on my doorstep after work tonight? A sample pint of 1701 Phoenix White ink! I am really looking forward to trying it out.

Thanks for pointing that out LF, I lose track of things after answering so many questions daily. I'll be on the lookout for this stuff in the future.
