Best White Plastisol Ink??

Here you can discuss any issues related to working with plastisol screen printing inks. This would include curing, mixing colors, additives, brands, usages and much more.

Best White Plastisol Ink??

Post by VinylVisionConcepts »

Hello,

Forgive me if my search talents have failed me here on the forums but I really need to know what white ink you prefer to use. I am looking for an ink that is as creamy and opaque as possible (yes I am aware that white ink on dark colors is a challenge) because the Union Ink that I am currently using is what I consider to be a pain! I've never dabbled in reducers and am hoping that there is an ink out there that will allow this lack of dabbling to continue for me haha. I thought that you had made a video on this once before but I had no luck finding it on youtube.

Again thank you for all of the work that you do good sir! Whatever you recommend is what I will purchase from you so I will await your response!

Thanks!

Yes, I use the very same inks I sell:

I don't have that one in quarts but I promise you'll love it. If not, I'll take it back.

You do not want to use a reducer with any HO ink. But you shouldn't have to with this one. Keep it at room temp at or above 74 degrees F and mix it thoroughly before each use. It should be smooth, creamy and easy to work with.

Thank you so much for the time out of your day today to speak with me, and for the response here!

Being that the shirts we will be printing are a 50/50 blend, would you go with a Poly ink, or use the ink that you recommended above? Also, how do Poly inks compare to a H.O. ink as far as coverage and ease of application?

You're very welcome!

Yes, I would use a poly white for 100% poly or 50/50 poly cotton blends.

It should be the same difference in opacity and such. It just will be best at blocking dye migration.
