Here’s a screenprinting educational video about why plastisol inks can sometimes fail to bond to a white under base. This type of situation could occur anytime you are over printing plastisol ink onto plastisol ink that has been flash cured on press. It doesn’t always happen but it’s a possibility whenever you flash on press and over print that flashed ink. Why does this happen and how can you prevent it? This video discusses the topic briefly as we extend our discussion of flash curing on your screen printing press when you are printing tee shirts. This video is specifically about plastisol inks and you may have never experienced this problem yourself. But it’s a great tutorial that can help you better understand how to flash cure on press. If you’re printing a multi colored job with a flash cure and you have seen the plastisol ink printed on the white under base come off in the laundry, then this video is a must see. So take a few minutes and watch this tutorial video about screen printing t-shirts and learn more about flashing on press during printing.
