Adjust a Ranar vista 6/4 press

Post by greycat »

Hi,

I have just bought a used Ranar Vista 6/4 press. It was in good condition and after cleaning it was as good as new. But I need your help with one adjustments. How do I adjust the bolt on the palette arm in front of the bearings. Is this supposed to get in contact with the printhead? How to I adjust the height on this properly?

Thanks in advance

If you mean the wing nut and bolt in front of the steel roller index bearings then this is the deal;

You can use those if you want. Off contact is normally set with the bolts on the back of the print head. That bolt is another off contact adjustment to tweak it if necessary as needed. Otherwise lower it so it does not hit the print head and use the print head to set off contact.
