Hi

thank for the very instructive videos. I am glad I found them on youtube and I already learned quiet some lessons. Regarding the mesh I now know that I should use the coloured (yellow / gold) mesh for the images that I would like to print. But what count... that is still a bit of a mystery to me. Maybe you can help?

I will print on light coloured silk twill fabric in darker colours to start with. Does the sort of paint and teh colour of the paint have an influence on the mesh count? If you can advise what mesh to use, that would be awesome. We have the images available in high res and the final print size will be 200 x 85 cm or 90 x 90 cm (no idea in inches....)Thx for your help!

Roel

Thank you very much for watching my videos and using the forum. I appreciate your support.

This looks like some detailed work so despite the ink you'll probably need to do fine line halftones on 230, 305 or 355 mesh pending on how fine of a halftone you want. However, generally speaking as the ink gets thinner we use higher mesh counts.

Perhaps something like this:
230 mesh - 45 LPI
305 mesh - 55LPI
355 mesh - 65LPI
