Printing on Canvas Bags

Post by intothis1 »

I want to print on canvas tote bags using plastisol ink. Would the 110 mesh work? Design has one fairly large simple graphic and letters (pink graphic, black letters on off white bag). Thanks so much for any advice.

I haven't printed any myself but I would think 110 would work great on canvas.

I print on canvas quite often. Canvas will not allow you to print minor delicate details as the fabric openings are too large to show detail well. The print positive you describe should print well utilizing a 110 mesh as the detail is minimal with large lettering.

Sounds good Casams, I appreciate your recent contributions. Nice.

But yeah highly textured materials with deep pitting will be difficult to print. A more open mesh like 110 will help fill some of those gaps in the print surface but detail will be difficult with plastisol inks.

Thinner ink will print easier on courser surfaces too.
