Shoes ! I have printed on socks before, but never shoes. I guess they're not really shoes, more like canvas dance slippers, but you get the idea. These were for an art exhibition, it was a poem gold-foiled across the front of 17 pairs of shoes!
This one was all about the preparation. I made a template with a bump to go inside each shoe, thus ensuring the same print location throughout the run. I then used said template to determine how the letters would lay across the shoes, making my marks on the screen, remember things are read left to right, I used markers on the screen and corresponding markings on the pallet for easy registration. Sliding the screen over for each word or partial word. This was a labor intensive job but I think it turned out pretty cool.
