How to transfer art on metal ?

This is the place to talk about what it takes to get started. This would include what equipment to buy, space requirements, electrical needs and anything related to getting ready to begin screen printing. Have a question regarding what it takes to screen print tee shirts? Please post them here...

Post by Marc-Eric »

Hi

I am maybe on the wrong forum but maybe someone will help me.

I want to transfer some artwork on a guitar pedal (metal); what is the better way to execute that ?

Thx

Greg(Ape shirt) can probably help with that. He's our resident expert and does awesome work on things like that. I'd like to try his method out when I get a chance.

Yeah I would have to agree with drew. Apeshirt or Greg as we know him uses the RhinoTech SinglePrint heat transfer paper.

He is really good at using this system. I think it would need a flat surface but it can transfer to alot of materials.

Here is Greg’s thread on the product:

Feel free to post some questions about the paper for us to try to answer for you. RhinoTech may help out too.

I've actually been meaning to try a guitar pedal for some time. I actually need to run to Guitar Center this week to pick up a drum head to customize for a band. I may see how much a pedal costs while there and see if I can do one.

If you're not going to go all the way then why bother going at all.
