Equipment order = placed!

This is the place to talk about what it takes to get started. This would include what equipment to buy, space requirements, electrical needs and anything related to getting ready to begin screen printing. Have a question regarding what it takes to screen print tee shirts? Please post them here...

Equipment order = placed!

Post by Shamax »

So late in the wee hours last night, I finally placed my order at catspitscreenprintsupply.com for some new equipment & supplies to make life at Fragile Branch a bit more enjoyable. When I was first considering what to get, I was only looking at buying a screen rack to convert into a light-safe rack for drying my screens. As the days went by, more got added to the wishlist, and after my brief chat with Jonathan, I added more still (and he wasn't even pitching upsells or anything). :P

I'm quite psyched and eagerly awaiting the arrival of:

A Ranar job cart
One of the CBX-2024 exposure units
A 16" air flash!!!
some RhinoClean chemicals to replace stuff I was running low on
and a gallon of white plastisol to finally start making the jump to plastisol prints.

I'm majorly geeking-out right now, and I haven't even received a shipping notice yet - LOL. I'm not normally the type to do an "unboxing" video, but I'll at least have to make a note to do a review video or something

Thanks for the very cool post Andy. It was a pleasure to speak with you. Thank you very much for your order. I appreciate the support greatly.

I apologize I have not had time to add the CatspitScreenPrintSupply.com forum section yet. I have been very busy with an ill family member and the new ecommerce site. I will try to do that tonight or within the next few days.

Thanks a lot.

No unboxing video to speak of, but I will be trying to post little notes and videos of everything in action once it's all up and running. I wanted to report-in though to say that everything arrived safe and sound! It *did* arrive a day earlier than I had anticipated, though. I contacted the destination terminal of the freight company. they said it would arrive there (an hour away) "sometime Tuesday", so I'd told em to deliver it early Wednesday. I'd taken that day off work in preparation, so I was quite surprised to receive a call from a truck driver Tuesday on my lunch asking where I was at

Lesson: contact the freight company a couple of times to make sure they understand the delivery arrangements.

As I said though, everything arrived in tip-top shape and expertly packed! It was all easy to assemble, even just by myself (including the cart, whose instructions said it would need the assistance of a second person). If you order through the catspitscreenprintsupply.com page, you're definitely in good hands

I do agree to stay on top of the freight carrier when your shipment has been scheduled. That will help make things go as smooth as possible for residential or commercial deliveries with lift gates.

Thanks so very much for the great testimonial. I do appreciate the kind words. And thanks again for the business.
