Production rate for Ranar packages

This is the place to talk about what it takes to get started. This would include what equipment to buy, space requirements, electrical needs and anything related to getting ready to begin screen printing. Have a question regarding what it takes to screen print tee shirts? Please post them here...

Production rate for Ranar packages

Post by matt_2.0 »

Package 1 indicates a production time of 75 shirts an hour and Package 2 indicates a production time of 150 an hour. Are these stats based on setup or pure production calculation? How are they getting this figure? Can three additional stations really cause that much of a greater output? I would almost imagine you would get a 50% gain of output not double the production time.

Of course all of the production rates are estimated. It depends on the individual printing and his or her skills, are you flash drying, how many times and also the number of colors you are printing. In comparing a single station printer and a rotary printer, you will definitely get more production on the rotary printer. Usually, you will have 2 people operating the rotary. One printing, the other loading and unloading. Don't get hung up on the numbers. Just know that a rotary printer will get you more shirts per hour, especially if you're flash drying. Even if you are printing by yourself.
