Looking for screen printing on the cheap

This is the place to talk about what it takes to get started. This would include what equipment to buy, space requirements, electrical needs and anything related to getting ready to begin screen printing. Have a question regarding what it takes to screen print tee shirts? Please post them here...

Looking for screen printing on the cheap

Post by OMG! Metal Detecting »

Sorry if this isn't in the correct place.

I would love to get into screen printing, however i don't have the cash to lay out for all the equipment needed.

Searching online for someone to do screen printing for just a couple of shirts is impossible and the prices are WOW!!

So I am continuing my search for a way to get my logo on a few styles of shirts without it busting my bank.

I am retired from the military and on a fixed budget. The logo I have is not for a business but to promote my retirement hobby of metal detecting. Hoping I can get some interest if I wear the shirts around.

That's about it. Thanks for letting me bend an ear or two.

I would have started screen printing a long time ago... but I forgot where I put the remote!

You might try something simple like screen clamps. You would likely have to start with water based inks you can let air dry and heat set with an iron.

You'll still need a scoop coater, screen, and squeegee of course. Then some chemicals as well including emulsion.
