Sublimation gallery

The topics in this area should deal with sublimation. You may post about the papers, printers, inks and/or systems for sublimating textiles or other novelty items a screen printer might sell.

Sublimation gallery

I recently started doing sublimation. I see potential here as a huge add-on to screen printing. Here's a couple things I've done so far.

Very cool Greg! Thanks for sharing. I love it. Nice work. Sublimation can be a lot of fun with all the ready to use products for it. I always wanted to get a sublimation set up but then I would be making Catspit stuff with it all the time ;)

Yeah, I already made my own coffee mug and put my clothing line's logo on the back of those lighters. I'm going to make my own flip flops soon. I'll also have my own water bottles, flasks and of course beer mugs 8-)

Cool Greg! I am actually about to add sublimation to my business too...but I am going to wait a while on a mug press. I bought a Ricoh 3110dn and probably getting the ink next week. I can't wait to try it out...but I agree with Jonathan, I will probably end up using it a lot for Leadfoot stuff! Lol

Very cool Greg! Every time you post new stuff I think of spending some dosh to get a sublimation set up and a plotter. But then I would be creating too much Catspit stuff and costing myself more money.... LOL.

Very cool products. Looks like a lot of fun.

Sublimation is fun. I'm trying to think of some "off beat" things I can coat and sublimate. Wanting to be different.

Oh that's cool. So your coating the items with the polymer yourself rather than buying sublimation products ready to sublimate?

I heard of this but never tired it. I have only done sublimation at shops I worked at with standard sub products you can buy ready to go.

Everything I've sublimated so far have been pre-coated. I recently bought a kit to coat my own things but I haven't tried it yet. Basically, the only coffee cups available that I see from suppliers are white, black with a white patch and metallic gold and silver. If the stuff I got works then I can add lighter colors like like blues, reds, yellows, greens, etc..
