This is a very simple and basic educational video about creating artwork in Adobe Illustrator for screen printing tee shirts. In this tutorial I show you how to use layers to your advantage as a screen printer. This video will show you the basic principles in using layers to separate colors when you create simple multi-color screenprinting artwork. This is almost like a part 2 to the "What Are Layers?" video. It will emphasize and reinforce the idea of working in layers by demonstrating the idea with simple art objects. We'll create a simple 3 color piece of art and you can too. Just find the layers function in your vector art software and you can use the tips in this how to video to learn the basics of layers. This video will help you create simple multi-color screen print designs with manual separations done while you make the vector art.
