Pressing issue w/ Single Step Laser Weed-Less Paper

This forum is for talking about digitally printed laser and inkjet heat transfers. You can discuss how to print and press them as well as which ones work best and what printers provide best results.

Pressing issue w/ Single Step Laser Weed-Less Paper

Post by Joes5 »

So I am just starting off with using the Single Step Laser Weed-Less Paper (and a Heat Press) and for the most part I am getting some good results, but I know that it could be better with some guidance from the forum. So I am hoping that someone here can possible advise me.

I printed all my images out with a good Color Laser Printer (mirrored) them and let it completely dry and I followed the directions that were included and also watched your video as well. So my white cotton shirts were almost successful BUT I continue to have the same issues:

1. I noticed that after I let it cool for 10 seconds and pulled it off, there was a clear film like residue that was left.
2. After I pulled off the transfer, some of the image was left on the paper and did not make it to my shirt.

I know that its probably about trial and error, but I have been going thru alot of the transfers and I dont want to keep wasting them.

Thank you in advance for any guidance.
