Catspit Artwork for Screen Printing Video On Deck!
Here’s another piece of art created by Amal Muhammad on Instagram. He wanted to create a piece of art for us to screen print in an upcoming video. So here it is. This is a very cool gradient image done like a stippling drawing. This is very similar to a halftone in rendering detail on screen. As you can see there are many ways you can render a gradient without using “dot” or RIP software. Hand drawn line art can be an awesome source of art for screen printing tee shirts and posters. Today I’m trying to shoot a video for upload this week and I’m looking at burning the screens for the upcoming 3 color halftone video. I have the screens ready but I’ve been pretty busy in the storefront the past few weeks which is good
But I’m anxious to play with that halftone print and have some fun.
