A Channel For The Weekend Warrior

Post by Cycle Surgeon »

Happy New Year!
Since this is my first official post on the Catspit forum, I figured I'd introduce myself through my YouTube channel: Cyclesurgeon aka The Weekend Warrior's Workshop.

Among other things I demonstrate building different bits of screen printing equipment for the hobbyist or entry level cheapskate like me. I've taken a shot at everything from a knocked off scoop coater (from another YouTube printer) to a couple different styles of tabletop press and press accessories. The plans for each project are always available for free at my website http://www.weekendwarrior.net84.net.

Since I've only been printing a couple of years, I don't really attempt to teach screen printing techniques (unless specifically requested): That's what we keep Jonathan around for...right? :D

Enjoy.

Welcome and Happy New Year!
I watched some of one of your videos. It was long and I don't have the time right now to watch more but it was interesting. Pretty slick stuff. It's always nice to get ideas from others and incorporate them as needed. Glad to have you here.

Yeah, I've been working on that "long" part. It's taken me 2 years to get them down to around 30 min. For 2013 I'm shooting for 20 min and less. Cheers!

Hey there Cycle Surgeon thanks for joining the forum and posting. Make sure to post your website and other networking platforms in the Networking section too.

You can also place an ad in the Classifieds for your free press plans.

I’m glad you guys keep me around for something... ;)

I don't know what's up. I'm wondering if some firewalls or AV's are identifying my site as a threat because it's a subdomain. I'm not seeing a problem from any of the several places I work from, but that doesn't mean all is well on the internet. Maybe I'll have to change hosts...again.

OK, I finally got around to making some adjustments. The original website URL is still there, but you can also try http://weekendwarrior.dogsquadron.com
This one seems to get past the ATT site blocker (plus it's my bike group's site). If you had problems in the past, take another shot...hopefully you'll enjoy it as much as I enjoy doing it.
